Digipak - Designing a Record Label logo...

One of your Ancillary tasks is to design the Digipak for your artist or band, which means that you will need to design the logo for your Record Label so that it can be included. Above are some examples of logos from famous mainstream and independent labels.

Your Task:

1. Decide upon the name for your record label. If you need inspiration, check this out.
2. Produce some sketches for a design and post these to your blog. Here is some advice for designing a successful logo.
3. Design your logo using Illustrator. Show the developments as you go, things will change and you are encouraged to create different versions, so post these to your blog too. It's very important that you show the process of how you get to your final logo design.
